Position Type : Full Time Duties: The Division of General Internal Medicine is seeking a Business Office Administrative Coordinator to provide administrative support and coordination of numerous essential functions and initiatives. Primary responsibilities in this position include providing administrative, clerical, organizational, and office support to the Division Chief. This will include supporting and performing a variety of tasks including, but not limited to, acting as a liaison between departments, outside vendors, and staff members, managing the Chief’s calendar, composing and preparing correspondence, coordinating meetings, preparing presentations, answering phones, processing reimbursements, compiling of reports, filing, coordination of conference calls, mail pick-up and delivery, travel arrangements, assist in research related activities such as document completion, submission, and compilation, and managing central filing for the Chief. In addition, this position will provide calendar and meeting support for the Associate Division Chiefs and the Clinical Division Administrator. The Business Office Coordinator will also be responsible for organizing and coordinating all division activities, such as annual meetings, division grand rounds, HSR conferences, and the submission of annual teaching award nominees. This will include coordinating all logistical planning such as securing event sites, room reservations, audiovisual, catering, and coordinating with the CME office. This position will also serve as an informational resource to visitors entering onto the division suite, assist in coordination of space planning and operations for the division, and serve as the central liaison with housekeeping and building staff for any maintenance or repairs needed on the 12th floor.
